Styles of Writing - Kindergarten/PK2

Posted by [email protected] on March 5, 2020 at 3:35 PM

This week is all about Dr. Seuss. So far, we have learned about some of his stories and style of writing. We have dived into creating our own adventures and stories through his work. One of our favorites is Bartholomew and the Oobleck. We plan on making our own Oobleck on Friday! In math we now know about pennies, nickels, and dimes. We are continuing our skills working on counting them individually and together. Friday we will learn about quarters and their worth and make money math problems with our own coins. We will also investigate and observe characteristics of each coin. Come check out our Dr. Seuss window. Leprechaun traps are due Friday March 13th! In the parent corner sight words will also be hung up along with a monthly calendar.
